If you’re new here or by chance you don’t have any idea as to what I’m talking about, then pull a seat! I’ll tell you all about it.

Text Book Centre is a bookstore founded in 1964 with 9 branches spread across Nairobi. It’s a bookstore that I have been going to since my broke Uni days till now that adulting is catching up! For the longest time we’ve been asking for a branch in tao. Somewhere to pop in and out as one runs errands, or on your way home or even just hanging out with a friend. Guess what? They listened and here’s where the excitement is coming in. They’re opening a 10th store right here in the heart of the city!! Let’s take a moment and let that sink in.


Kama kawaida, the pricing of the products does not change and is the same across all their branches, so it won’t be any different in the new one – Issa Win! The new location makes it even more convenient to stop by and accessible as you go by your day – double win!

The CBD branch officially opens tomorrow (4th March 2021) as from 12pm! Its located on Kenyatta Avenue, on the ground floor of 680 Hotel.
