Gilmore Girls is one of my top TV show obsessions, a comfort show if you will, and what makes it even better; knowing and seeing Rory Gilmore is a major bookworm. Over the course of the seven seasons she reads 339 books. You can find the full list here.
After finishing the show last year, I made the conscious decision to read all the books that Rory reads. For me this is a long term, slow reading challenge as I am in no hurry with the list, meaning no pressure! Now what is even more exciting is that I am doing the challenge with my lovely friend Nada of Africaanah and you can join us too with the tag #readinglikeRory
So far I have read 41 books out of the 339, and have 4 unread on my tbr that I plan to get to in 2021.

What’s next?

Like I said before, this is a challenge that I will be taking really slow, not to mention some of the books are not locally available to me so it will take some time to get them.
Some of the books I read and loved, others not so much. Those that I have already reviewed I have linked them and I’ll be updating with links when I do review the others.
Join Nada and I and let’s all read like Rory! It’ll be fun

Do you see any familiar titles?
Are you doing the Rory Gilmore Challenge? If yes, how many books from the list have you read so far? If no, are you interested?

Rory is a powerhouse! You’re doing great on the challenge and can’t wait to read about the books that stood out for you.
