Bukkuoba Subscription Bag Unboxing // November Bag

Good morning Reader, and a happy new week. ❤️ Today’s post is a little bit different, a review but for a bookish subscription box. The team over at Bukkuoba were kind enough to gift me their November bag, and I thought it’ll be fun to share with you. Maybe introduce you, Reader, to something new?

What is Bukkuoba?

Bukkuoba translates to ‘book lover’ and it’s a bookish subscription service where for sh.1900 ($19) you get a pre-loved book (in very good condition) of your choice from the catalogue provided, and 2-3 surprise bookish treats. The treats are locally made, sourced from small business owners and the bag is delivered once a month in the last week.

I was pleasantly surprised with my November bag, from the service to the delivery. The handwritten note and the packaging was the first thing I noticed, and I truly loved them. What I got:

A book
I decided to go with Kristin Hannah’s Home Front as she’s an author I have been curious about before, and this was the perfect opportunity to read her work.

A Notebook
How gorgeous is this notebook from angys_enterprise? I’m even scared to write in it! Anyone who knows me is aware of my existing notebook obsession, & this one is such a cute addition to my collection. I love it!

Fruit Powder
Listen, I was a bit skeptical with this one, having never used or had a fruit powder before, so I wasn’t sure if I’d take to it. Fortunately, I am happy to report that I am a convert!! This Baobab Fruit Powder made by superobao is so, so so good. I added it to my smoothie & it made it even more delicious. Now I want to add it to almost everything. I was pleasantly surprised.

I loved it. Seriously, 10/10! This was such a unique experience. Unwrapping my package was such a treat, I couldn’t stop smiling.

If you’re looking for a gift for you, or the book lover in your life, then I highly recommend this subscription service, I can say it’s value for your money.

I did a short video on my Bookstagram which you can watch here and if you want to order or subscribe to Bukkuoba, then head on over to their page here.
