A Classic Affair

Hey guys! I recently went through my tbr and I realized I have a few classic books that I really want to read but never got around to doing so.

Most of them I did start reading but ended up DNF because a) I wasn’t in the mood for a classic and b) I couldn’t get into the story. In my journey to read more out of my comfort zone, I plan on reading these 5 books by the end of the year

  1. Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
  2. Emma by Jane Austen
  3. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
  4. Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
  5. Persuasion by Jane Austen

For me, reading a classic book takes a long time to finish so I’ll take my time and read them slowly.

Have you read any of these books? Let me know down below

Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead! 🙂

  1. I love reading classics. I adore Jane Austen’s books so I can only recommend her works. My favourite by her is definitely Pride and Prejudice, though I love both Emma and Persuasion as well. I hope you enjoy her works, when you get to them. 🙂

  2. I have read all the Jane Austen’s in your list. P&P is my fave Jane Austen followed by Emma. I wasn’t a big fan of Persuasion but I hope you enjoy them all!
I want to read some of the Bronte’s books this year and other classics. Maybe I’ll do a post about it inspired by yours!
